Shipping & Logistics

  • Steering: LHD ONLY. Right-Hand Drive vehicles are strictly prohibited.
  • Pre-Export: No mandatory inspection in Japan. Local inspection by DGA post-arrival.

Customs & Costs

  • Import Duty: 20%. ITBIS (VAT): 18%.
  • ISC: 0%-60% depending on engine cc and CO2. First License Plate fee is 17% of CIF.

Age & Import Restrictions (CRITICAL)

Age Limits: Maximum 5 years old for passenger vehicles. (Heavy commercial trucks up to 15 years).
