Shipping & Logistics

Steering: Left-Hand Drive (LHD) ONLY. Import and registration of RHD vehicles have been completely banned since 2007.
Import: An individual may import no more than 1 car per year for personal use. Gray dealerships are prohibited from importing new cars without official approval.

Customs & Costs

Processing: Payment of duty, VAT (12%), utilization fee, and initial registration fee is mandatory. Strict control over declarations is in place.
Registration: Registration is done through the Specialized Public Service Center (SCON). SBKTS, customs clearance, and EPTS are required.

Age & Import Restrictions (CRITICAL)

There is no direct age ban, but the initial registration fee is critically high for used cars older than 2-3 years, making their import economically unviable.
